Partner Visa

Partner visa allows a spouse, de facto, or prospective spouses of Australian PR, Citizen or eligible New Zealand Citizens to enter and stay in Australia.

Partner Visa (100/309)[Offshore]: This is an offshore visa that permits a spouse to come to Australia to join his/her partner. After staying 2 years together can apply for a permanent subclass 100 (permanent), if meeting other criteria of that subclass.

Partner Visa (801/820)[On-shore]: This is an on-offshore visa that permits a spouse to stay in Australia with his/her partner. After staying 2 years together can apply for a permanent subclass 801 (permanent), if meeting other criteria of that subclass.

Prospective Marriage Visa (300)[Offshore]: This visa allows a prospective spouse of an Australian to come to Australia to get married and then leads to a permanent visa. The applicant must have evidence that he/she physically met the prospective spouse before applying for this visa.
If you get married after applying for this visa but before the grant can switch to a partner visa.
